"Hockey Stick" is a statistical term that describes a sudden upward spike in any graph. The fiscal policy of the U.S. is a landscape of systemic planned debt-spending that keep all of the U.S. population in a "forever-debt" scenario. The physical health, fiscal health, and social health of any group of people are integrally related. These statistics are no accident, nor are they an errant economical storm: they are simply standard U.S. policy.
